Our Abbeys setting offers wraparound care for both registered Buttons children and those attending the accommodating school, this is available as a breakfast club, after-school club or both, breakfast club starts from 8:00am and after-school club is available from 3:00-4:00pm which wraparounds our usual 9:00-3:00 hours.

Stacey- Manager / Designated Safeguarding Lead

I am the Manager at Abbeys, I am a Level 4 qualified practitioner.

I have two children of my own, which is one of the main reasons for wanting to study childcare.

I enjoy spending my spare time with my children and family.

 

Emma - Deputy Manager

My name is Emma, I have a foundation degree in Early Years, and have been working in childcare for over 12 years.

I enjoy helping the children learn through their play, in particular how play can promote emotional well being and the ways in which children can see themselves positively

I have children 4 of my own and a sausage dog to keep me busy while I am at home.

Melissa - Practitioner / SEN Lead

I am a mum to three children, I was looking forward to going back to work in a childcare setting and it has certainly met my expectations.

I'm excited to watch the children progress, learn and develop.

 

Charley - Practitioner / 2 Year Lead

Hi, I'm Charley. I am Level 3 qualified and have been in childcare for 13 years.

I enjoy helping children to grow and develop.

In my spare time I really enjoy spending time with my daughter.

Leanne - Practitioner 

I'm NVQ Level 3 qualified, I am looking forward to furthering my knowledge with Buttons.

I have two children, whom I love spending time with and watching them grow and develop.

Chelsea - Practitioner 

My name is Chelsea. I have worked with children for 7 years in a primary school setting. After having my youngest child I decided to venture into Early Years. 

I have two children of my own. I like watching the children grow, learn and develop new skills. 

In my spare time I like to spend time outdoors with my children.

 
 

Caiya - Practitioner 

Hi, my name is Caiya and I have been in childcare for 3 years. I love seeing the children grow and develop. In my spare time, I enjoy going out with my friends and listening to music. 

 
 

Loraine - Practitioner

Hi I’m Loraine , I enjoy working with children as I love to see the progress they make whilst at preschool. I like to create exciting activities that capture the children’s interests, I have recently completed my Level 3 Qualification on Childcare.

Outside of work I have 3 grown up children and 2 grandchildren, 1 of which I part care for. I love spending time with them and taking them out for the day!
